Boyd Strategies, LLC (BSLLC) is a consulting practice providing Strategic Management Advisory Services, Government Affairs and Community Engagement services to clients in both the public and private sectors. Headquartered in Washington, DC, BSLLC is a minority-owned small business. Founded by Harrison Boyd, the company draws upon the experience and expertise of its founder and other select consulting associates who bring industry best practices in other affiliated areas of specialty and disciplines.
Mr. Boyd has extensive experience in areas of Government Affairs and Community Relations and core competencies in strategic planning, organizational development, and business process re-engineering. Mr. Boyd has managed projects in the fields of organizational development, strategic planning, economic development, recovery management, and foreign direct investment in emerging markets. He is experienced in implementing organizational change in environments requiring technology migration, financial restructuring and business process improvements.
In addition to his experience with the District Government, Mr. Boyd has been engaged by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to perform strategic assessments as well as business consulting engagements with private sector companies such as DynCorp I&ET, Maximus and Bearing Point. Engagements at the state and local government level included the City of New Orleans, LA; States of Maryland, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana, Virginia and the District of Columbia Government.
Mr. Boyd has authored numerous articles and publications on related management topics and is a member of several trade and industry associations. He has received recognition for his contributions to the development of small and minority businesses from the US House of Representatives and articles in Black Enterprise and USA Today.
